The heart is the strongest muscle, it does not need protection for it breaks over and over again at the hands of the ones we love most and rejuvenates over and over again, it keeps our bodies functioning and it works the best it can throughout our lives through the good and bad to keep us going until it can do more, and it is time for it to stop. But why can’t our minds be this strong? protect us from hurt, take control, let it be known that we are worth fighting for? Our brains are the most complex, beautiful, dark and curious organs all at the same time. Yet we still cannot figure out how to love. The heart figured this out from the moment we were given life, from the first beat, because it fights for us everyday until we die and that is love. So we must love ourselves first like our hearts do and let’s start from there..
