Blue Butterfly

I am a blue butterfly even though I am a mix of vibrant warm colours I stay blue inside, fluttering around from place to place with no where permanent to call home but I love this free and independent feeling and the unknown can be exciting and adventurous but also lonely and empty. The others say I am brave but what they don’t know is that I have to be. I am beautiful they say, my colours draw them in but this is just an illusion for I remain blue inside and lost until I find a home that matches my warm Vibrant colours. I lightly perch myself on you and feel what I have been looking for, I feel comfort, warmth, familiarity, please let me stay here, just for a little while.. before I have to fly away again.
